Summer of 2011

January 2012

The illustrations that Randy did for “Milagro of the Spanish Bean Pot” were featured in a show at The Martinez Hacienda in Taos, NM

April 2012

Randy won an awards for his illustrations for “Milagro of the Spanish Bean Pot” at The Western Heritage Awards put on by The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.

May 2012

Randy designed a new exhibit  for The Fort Garland Museum in Fort Garland, CO. The exhibit depicted the Civil War in Colorado and New Mexico.

June 2012

Taos Solar Music Festival - For the 11th year Randy was the Design and Art Production Manager for the festival. Randy also designed the official poster for the festival.

July 2012

Through the Community Partnerships office of Adams State University, Randy had been teaching art to inmates at the Alamosa County Jail. The “Art Behind Bars” show was held in July  in Alamosa, CO that featured the artwork that the inmates had completed.

August 2012

Randy started teaching classes at Adams State University as an adjunct professor.

September 2012

Randy has new work featured the Adams State University Art Department Faculty Show.

November 2012

Randy will be taking part in a group print show at The Cloyde Snook Gallery at Adams State University. The show will also feature the work of Denver artist Tony Ortega. The show will run from November 19th through December 14th. The opening reception will be held at the gallery on November 30th from 5pm to 7pm.

Workshops

Randy currently offers workshops in printmaking and painting at Ventero Open Press in San Luis, CO. To find out more, contact Ventero Open Press at 719-672-0557.
